Common types of IBC tank fittings

IBC tank fitting to BSP (male)

These IBC fittings will adapt either an IBC tank with S60x6 valve to a male BSP 3/4”, 1”, 1 1/2” or 2” connection, or  IBC tank with S100x8 valve to a male BSP 2” connection. The adaptor simply screws on to ensure a tight fit and it’s ready to use.

What is a BSP connection?

BSP (British Standard Pipe) is a technical standard for the screw threads and it a very common type of thread. Many of the connections and pipes used to link two or more IBCs together will use BSP threads, as will many taps. It’s a widely-used international standard, which is why our IBC to BSP adapters come in a range of sizes, e.g. from 1/2 inch up to 2 inch.
